Returns and Refunds Policy(updated)

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Sweet Tea Company. If you find yourself unsatisfied with your order, we've streamlined our return process to ensure your peace of mind. Please read our return policy below:

Refund for consumable Items (ONLY): If you're not entirely delighted with your purchase and wish to return consumable items, you have a 3-day window from the confirmed delivery date to request a refund. We are pleased to offer a 200%* refund on the original purchase amount (consumable tea/blends only). Refunds will be processed upon receipt of the returned goods, within 5 business days. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. *200% refunds may be subjected to investigation and demoted to a refund of the original purchase amount, if foul play is suspected.*

Store Credit for Opened Items: Should you wish to return opened items, we offer store credit for returns made within 14 calendar days of the purchase date. Store credit will be issued once we receive the returned items. Please keep in mind that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The store credit will be processed within 5 business days.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Once the damaged item has been returned, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch with us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Items on sales, gift cards purchases and digitally downloaded items are also considered non-returnable items and all sales are final.

Exchanges

Exchanges requests must be approved. The above guidelines will still apply to determine if an exchange is possible. After approval, the exchange request will be processed within 5 business days.

How to Initiate a Return: To request a return or refund, kindly send an email to returns@thesweetteacompany.com. Include your order number, the items you'd like to return, and the reason for the return. Our team will guide you through the next steps and provide any necessary instructions.
